EnvirEau Technologies Inc. (ETI), a private Canadian corporation, is focused on developing, manufacturing and marketing environmentally friendly liquid concentrates for rejuvenating & protecting global water & soil environments. ETI’s proprietary technology uses nano sized metallic mineral ions such as copper, zinc, silver and others to control biological contamination over extended periods in a wide range of food, water, wastewater and soil conditions. ETI products are used to protect the health and well-being of humans and livestock and to protect crops and foodstuffs from a wide variety of bacterial, algal, fungal and/or parasitic contamination. ETI’s products are established in Canada and in 8 overseas markets. Sales from its manufacturing facility in Richmond BC have increased by 243% to over $500,000 from February 2005 to December 31, 2007. The company currently has a positive EBITDA, and wishes to expand manufacturing to locations in Asia, Africa and Europe.

Paradigm Environmental Technologies Inc. is a private company located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada that has developed MicroSludge®, a patented technology to process wastewater sludge at municipal sewage treatment plants and at industrial facilities. MicroSludge is a sustainable technology that significantly enhances anaerobic digestion, thereby increasing plant capacity, decreasing the amount of waste sludge for disposal and increasing the production of biogas, a renewable fuel that lowers plant operating costs and reduces GHG emissions.

Quadra Solar is a High Concentrated Solar Photovoltaic (HCPV), Thermal (CSP) Power Systems Technologies development company. Our mission is to make large- and utility-scale solar technology more efficient and comparable in cost or lower than grid pricing.
We are developing iPYRAMID™, a patent-pending state of the art solar system using concentrated cell technology which offers the highest efficiency in the industry , up to triple that of standard solar panels. iPYRAMID™ offers the first triple access solar tracking system which has the widest sun tracking angle in the industry (1800). The system utilizes lenses and mirrors to concentrate light. SiXtron (S) Advanced Materials is reducing $/watt of c-Si solar cells. (S) provides to solar manufacturers a better anti-reflective coating by using its proprietary process based on its gas generation system (SunBox) and a consumable (cartridge), which is used in the SunBox to generate a proprietary gas. Manufacturers of c-Si Solar cells are experiencing cost/safety and performance limitations using silane, a pyrophoric gas.S is providing its customers a "full sollution" consisting of:(i) a gas generation unit (SunBox) as a capital sale to add to our customers production line (ii) a cartridge of polymer as a consumable sale (iii) Process recipes of Thin films for each existing production platforms to ensure a fast "plug and play". Size of the market is $500M by 2010, CAGR of 35%. Silane prices have risen by >25% this year. Silane has resulted in operator fatalities in PV plants. S solutions are not only cost effective, but safer for customers to use on their existing production lines.

Taransys Inc is a private company, federally incorporated in March 2007, and located in Ottawa, Canada. The company was formed specifically to exploit an opportunity to introduce to the marketplace a new advanced gallium nitride (GaN) technology, developed by the National Research Council to improve the frequency and power performance of very high power transistors and diodes. The research work has resulted in a patented method of growing semi-insulating GaN layers, using carbon as a dopant. In addition, Taransys is in the process of obtaining patents relating to cost reduction and performance enhancements.
The company will introduce a series of lateral power diodes in early 2009, followed in mid-2009 by a groundbreaking normally-off 1200 volt 80 amp transistor for the power control and hybrid vehicle markets. Marketing and distribution channels have been established. The company has obtained commitments for up to $2.5M in government support for these projects.
